Three places a sale gets lost between your checkout and the platform that paid for it.
Each one on its own looks like a small discrepancy. Together they mean Meta and Google bid on a picture that is missing the buyers you most want more of.
Ad blockers and iOS
Browser-only tags never fire for a share of your visitors, and that share skews towards higher-value buyers. The purchase happens. The platform never hears about it.
Consent timing
When the consent banner and the tags race each other on page load, purchases are dropped before consent is even read. It looks like a low consent rate. It is a configuration bug.
Three platforms, three numbers
GA4, Google Ads and Meta each count purchases their own way. Without a shared order ID there is no single number the team trusts, so budget decisions turn into arguments.
1.7× to 8.0× reported ROAS in 30 days. Same ads, same budget.
The store was losing purchases to ad blockers, iOS and a consent race condition. We moved collection server-side, connected Meta Conversions API with deduplication and rebuilt the data layer so all three platforms read one purchase object.
Read the case studyHow an engagement runs, and how you can check each step.
The same four steps every time. Nothing switches over until your order list and the platform agree.
Audit the purchase path
We trace every event from your data layer through GTM to GA4, Google Ads and Meta, and log where it is duplicated, blocked or never sent. You keep the report whether or not you continue.
Fix consent first
Consent Mode v2 set correctly for both states and the race condition removed, so consented purchases are always sent and non-consented ones are always withheld.
Run browser and server side by side
Server-side GTM goes live on your own subdomain next to the existing tags. We compare both against your orders until the numbers match, then switch bidding over.
Cut over, document, support
One purchase object for every platform, documentation of every tag, trigger and destination, and 30 days of support after go-live.
Four years of agencies, plugins and "just add this one".
One path, one order ID, every platform.
Four things we do, from the cheapest to the biggest.
Full details and pricingTracking audit

Prices are fixed after a 30-minute scoping call and only move with scope. Hosting is paid to the provider, from €22 per month, never marked up.
Not a full-service agency. Two people who only do tracking.
No account managers, no creative team, no media buying. The person on the scoping call is the person in your GTM container. If you don't need us yet, we say so.

"Professional, insightful, creative. Focused on long-term strategic goals, not just short-term wins."
The questions we get on the first call.
If yours isn't here, the call is 30 minutes and costs nothing.
Book a tracking callWill server-side tracking double count my conversions?
No. Every purchase is sent from the server with the same event ID as the browser pixel, so Meta and Google receive it once. We verify the deduplication rate against your order list before bidding switches over.
How long does it take?
A tracking audit is delivered in 5 working days. A single-domain server-side rebuild is live in 2 to 4 weeks, including a parallel run of browser and server tracking.
What does it cost?
Tracking Audit from €1,500, Server-Side Rebuild from €4,000, Full Data Stack from €12,000. The price is fixed after a 30-minute scoping call and only moves with scope.
Do I need a developer?
Usually not. We work inside Google Tag Manager and your hosting provider. If a data layer change is needed, we write the exact spec for your developer or make the change ourselves on WooCommerce and Shopify.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. Agencies resell our tracking work under their own name, with white-label reports and per-account pricing that drops with volume.
Where is the server container hosted and what does hosting cost?
On TAGGRS, an EU-hosted, ISO 27001 certified provider we partner with, or on your own Google Cloud. Hosting is paid to the provider from about €22 per month and is never marked up.
